La Joya ISD Earns National Recognition for Excellence in Financial Reporting

La Joya, TX - La Joya ISD's commitment to transparency and fiscal responsibility has earned the district national recognition from the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International. The district recently received the ASBO International Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Fiscal Year 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report - a distinction that highlights La Joya ISD’s continued commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in financial stewardship.

Awarded to districts that meet the highest standards in financial reporting, the prestigious national award promotes clear, accurate, and comprehensive financial statements and recognizes districts that demonstrate exceptional fiscal responsibility.
